Land Acknowledgement

At Delta Rising Foundation, we acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Tongva and Acjachemen peoples, who have cared for and stewarded the Greater Los Angeles Basin for generations and continue to do so today.

We recognize and honor the enduring presence and resilience of the Tongva and Acjachemen communities. We are grateful for their leadership and the cultural wisdom they share that informs our mission of advancing sustainable, community-centered climate solutions.

We understand that land acknowledgements are just one step in a broader journey toward meaningful action and relationship-building. We are committed to listening, learning, and standing in solidarity with local Indigenous communities through our projects, partnerships, and daily practices.

As we work to restore ecosystems, drive climate innovation, and build a sustainable future, we strive to do so in a way that respects the past, honors present-day Indigenous voices, and helps ensure that future generations can thrive.
