BEE COOL
As temperatures soar, we face a critical challenge:
In the US, heat kills more Americans than any other weather-related disaster.
In July 2024, over 100M people in the US were under a heat alert warning. Our burning of fossil fuels is making these extreme events increasingly deadly; and summer’s increasing exceptional heat proves that with every passing year.
Our solution? A shade structure designed to do more than just shield from the sun.
We’re beyond excited to announce our new revelatory regenerative design to help everyone BEE COOL as it’s getting a little hot ’round here…
BEE COOL:
- Breaks up the urban heat island effect, with a greater effect in combination with other Green Infrastructure
- Collects water which feeds the green roof and the surrounding plants with overflow
- Collects solar energy which powers the lights, charging stations, and potential LED emergency communication system
BEE COOL is more than metal, a green roof, and sustainable design; it’s a testament to our commitment to change. Rainwater collected nurtures plants, weaving nature into our urban tapestry. The pain of lives lost to extreme heat fuels our mission — to reshape our cities, to break the cycle.
It’s getting a little hot ’round here…
Our Design erupts from our nurturing network of regenerative minds.
